Brian Stanton is an information technology executive with more than 35 years of experience in defining infrastructure strategy and implementing technology solutions to align business objectives to effective and efficient solutions. He focuses his work on advisory services related to strategic planning; operational excellence; IT efficiencies; merger, acquisition and divesture; and technology management, including application and infrastructure. Brian has excelled at effective delivery of IT services through the management and orchestration of people, products, providers and processes. He has provided operational leadership for large scale global teams, including multibillion-dollar health care and life science systems, successfully implementing large scale programs and driving integration of IT teams and technologies supporting mergers and acquisitions.

Senior IT Executive – Operational Excellence: Led team of leaders in creation and delivery of quality program that focused on service excellence, financial performance, compliance and roadmap to improve IT service management processes. 

Operational Leadership: Led teams of infrastructure and application leaders, project managers, architects and security analysts in planning and implementing of transition of service activities for health care and life science businesses acquisition, outsourcing, mergers and divestitures. Single point of contact for IT planning and service performance for health care and pharmaceutical clients, including enterprise applications, infrastructure, security and business continuity.

Merger, Acquisition and Divestiture: Led integration activities for two large health systems and five smaller systems plus assisted with major acquisitions within the agriculture products. Member of a new business team structuring process for transition of services for new health care clients. Led implementation of global supply chain system for newly formed joint venture of two pharmaceutical companies.

Strategic Planning: Designed and implemented strategic program for health care new business planning efforts. The program included intake process, pipeline tracking, prioritization and vetting process. Created IT strategy plan for all new health care clients focusing on client business objectives for the next five years. Directly accountable for the IT Quality Management strategy for a large health care system that provided five-year roadmap for implementing new processes, tools, training, metrics, reporting and methodologies.

Process Improvement: Led creation and implementation of continuous improvement program for health care system IT services focusing on positive impact to product and services. Improvement activities included: reducing operating expenses 10 percent for fiscal year by proactively driving process improvements, automation and partner negotiations; improving IT operational performance metrics to meet/exceed industry benchmarks through education, motivating people, reporting, collaboration and automation; and creating a scorecard and dashboards for executive and operational leaders to track performance goals.

IT Budget Planning and Tracking: Directed technology leaders in development of annual operating and capital budgets. Developed monthly review process of tracking financial performance against budget and reviewed operational metrics performance.

Team Leadership: Managed IT service management team that supported ITIL processes and employed agile methodologies, as well as leading centralized national service desk team with more than 200 employees who supported health care system with 2,600 sites across 22 states. Managed highly matrixed complex teams delivering technology projects and ongoing services in an effective and efficient manner.
