Improvement activities included: reducing operating expenses 10 percent for fiscal year by proactively driving process improvements, automation and partner negotiations; improving IT operational performance metrics to meet/exceed industry benchmarks through education, motivating people, reporting, collaboration and automation; and creating a scorecard and dashboards for executive and operational leaders to track performance goals.
IT Budget Planning and Tracking: Directed technology leaders in development of annual operating and capital budgets. Developed monthly review process of tracking financial performance against budget and reviewed operational metrics performance.
Team Leadership: Managed IT service management team that supported ITIL processes and employed agile methodologies, as well as leading centralized national service desk team with more than 200 employees who supported health care system with 2,600 sites across 22 states. Managed highly matrixed complex teams delivering technology projects and ongoing services in an effective and efficient manner.
